IBM, Microsoft and the massive tech firms are antitrust crap
The Google trial continues, together with lawsuits in opposition to Amazon and… lifeless, introduced antitrust again into the general public eye. These lawsuits are harking back to the 1969 case in opposition to IBM The 1998 case Vs Microsoftthe main antitrust battles of the latter half of the 20th century.
Proponents of strict antitrust measures consider that solely antitrust fits prevented IBM from dominating the non-public pc market and Microsoft from dominating the Web. However that is an city legend.
