The nest is never empty

The nest isn’t empty

Now that our daughter and son are grown and residing elsewhere, my spouse and I are sometimes requested what it is prefer to be an empty nester. Although our kids have moved away, the nest by no means appears empty to me. After they left, a big portion of their belongings have been left behind.

Our daughter has been married for a 12 months, however her outdated bed room continues to be intact, a shrine to teenage lifetime of the previous decade. Yearbooks line the shelf, and relics are at all times uncared for as a result of younger individuals can not think about having to be prompted to recollect highschool. There are dolls saved below the mattress and a few promenade clothes, I feel, within the closet.
